So what's the special offer?

For a limited time when we install an upgraded fuseboard, we'll also supply and fit an emergency light fitting in your electricity cupboard totally free of charge.
As you could see from the video on the previous page, in the event that the power to your lighting circuit 'trips out' the emergency light switches on using the built in back-up battery providing you with essential lighting allowing you to safely to reset your circuit breaker.
This is normally costs £72 as an optional extra but for a limited period and as part of this promotion we are including this totally free of charge.
What is involved in getting my fuseboard changed?

Step 1- Free Site Survey

The first step is a free of charge site visit where we will do a survey of your existing fuseboard to assess if it actually needs replacing. Just because it may not comply with the latest Wiring Regulations doesn’t automatically mean that it’s unsafe or needs replacing.
We’ll also check the earthing and general condition of the wiring in your home to make sure it’s in sufficiently good condition to accept the new fuseboard, and to allow us to certify the installation as safe once the new consumer unit is fitted.

Step 2- Discuss Your Options

Next we will discuss the various options open to you and any preferences you may have.
Based on this we will then work out a fully itemised quote showing a description of the proposed work and listing the labour and materials required.
Unlike many other contractors, our quotes are just that, a fixed quote rather than an estimate which magically goes up when the work is complete.
If you’re happy with the price and you’d like to proceed, then you can simply accept the quote with a single click on the email. We’ll then be in touch to arrange a convenient time to carry out the works.

Step 3- Carry Out The Works

One of our fully trained, uniformed electricians will then fit your fuseboard and test your electrics to ensure it's safe and complies with current regulations.
We'll then remove all waste (including the old fuseboard), vacuum up and then explain the operation of your new fuseboard to you.
Once the works have been completed and you’re totally satisfied then we can issue you with the invoice and certification.
Also, whilst we’re onsite you can conveniently make payment using cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
What's included in the cost of your replacement fuseboard?
  • Labour and materials required to install and test your new fuseboard
  • NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificate
  • Part P Building Regulations Approval
  • Invoice and receipt of payment
  • Transferable five-year guarantee plus the NICEICs Platinum Promise six-year insurance backed warranty
  • For a limited time we’ll also supply and fit a complimentary emergency LED light fitting to all replacement consumer units
How long does it take & how much does it cost?
Including testing, a replacement consumer unit typically takes between half a day to a full day to complete, so we usually allow our electricians a full day in order to make a really tidy job of it.
Costs vary depending on the number of circuits and type of consumer unit required. The most popular is the 10-way, split-load, dual RCD consumer unit with eight circuit breakers. This typically costs £420.00 plus VAT, fully fitted and certified.
